Stimulus Checks

When will the IRS send my second round of stimulus money?
The IRS continues to monitor and prepare for new legislation related to Economic Impact Payments. The IRS will make updates to the Get My Payment portal at https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment to provide updated information for taxpayers in the near future.

How will funds arriving electronically be deposited into my account?
Electronic funds are transferred during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday. To review if your payment is pending, please visit Hopewell Online, select Services and choose Pending Transactions. If you see a payment from "IRS TREAS", you can see what the effective date is to the far right.

What if I receive a live check and need to deposit it?
You may utilize our drive thru lanes during normal business hours. Additionally, each branch offers you access to our night deposit on the exterior of the building. We will be checking these throughout the day. Take advantage of this option if you have a paper check you need to deposit.

Can I set up deposit alerts on my Hopewell Online account?
Yes! Simply log into your Hopewell Online account and visit the Services tab. You will find the eAlerts button. Add a new alert by clicking the Add Alert button. You can select the account and determine what type of alert you would like to set up. Once this is complete, you will be able to see all your alerts on this screen.
